SIMPLE DIY SOLAR WATER HEATING!

Enjoy free Solar hot water year-round. This totally solar powered system just keeps going even when there is no mains electricity!

Choosing your own system will be a lot easier once you know what is involved. If you have thought of buying an installed system attending this course first can save you £1000's!

We will:

Discuss and review all the different existing technologies,
Review our own unique design and adapt it for your own home,
Assemble your own panel* or help make a demo panel for the centre,
A practical experience for people who are interested in living more self-reliant and sestainable lifestyles. Basic soldering and metal work experience helpful but not essential as these will be practised.
* 3 day Workshop (+2 if also attending part 2 - "self-Install")
Dates: 28 to 30 May '05 Venue: Hafotty Gelynen, NE Wales
Cost: £125 or £175 over 5 days, plus food and accom.
*Materials at cost if you want to make and take away your own panel:- from £350

After this workshop you will * understand how solar water heating works
* be able to buy or make a system suitable for your home, * and self-install it!

You will also have great opportunities to enjoy the countryside, appreciate the centre and what's on offer, share fireside entertainment, discover more about yourself and natural sustainable living.

Jonathan Eveleigh has designed and fitted leading systems as part of his renewable energy business. He supports co-operative community groups for self-reliance and sustainable living, and is helping to set up a community land project in Portugal.
