Arco-Iris Centre Our Aims & Objectives –
Alentejo, Portugal
We believe that creation is designed to sustain and evolve life and that everyone has inherent life skills within to realise this.
Our aim is to provide opportunities for people to share experiences to learn how to fully realise our true selves and how to live more naturally and sustainably together.
At
Arco-Iris (Rainbow) Community we aim to:
Ø Introduce and give people a chance to
recognise for themselves the underlying principles that are the foundations of
life based on ancient wisdom,
Ø Share appropriate tools for
self-development so as to fully realise our part in the scheme of things,
Ø How to live with greater self-reliance to
more sustainably meet our needs for food, energy, real health etc., - based on
permaculture principles,
Ø Give examples of practical sustainable
living by individuals, families and groups in communities from different parts
of the world,
Ø Offer working holidays to help people
develop their experience and help build resources in the valley where we live,
Ø Visit other eco-community groups and sacred
places to support and develop a network and culture of learning and sharing
resources together,
Ø Provide a channel for Humanity’s Plan for
living in peaceful cooperation between people with individual respect and
reverence for life based on natural and spiritual law,
Ø
Cooperate
fully with similar projects world-wide.
